Laundry/Fabric Care

Washing Instructions

When washing sheets always wash separately from other items such as jeans, towels, blankets, etc. In a nutshell, to maintain longevity and to keep the anti-pilling finish intact always wash John Linens sheets and pillowcases separately from all other articles of clothing or bedding. Also, please wash only in cold or warm temperatures. To avoid possible streaking we do not recommend pouring detergent or fabric softener directly on sheets when loading in the wash. If needed, non-chlorinated bleach or white vinegar can be added to the rinse cycle. Basic washing and care instructions are also located on the back packaging of your sheets as well if needed.

Drying

One of the many great things about your John Linens sheets is that they dry fast and are wrinkle-resistant! Depending on the dryer, your John Linen sheets will be ready for the bed after a short 20-25 minute cycle in your dryer on medium to medium-high heat. This will not only get the sheets all nice and toasty, but it'll also kick in the wrinkle-release properties and have them ready for bed. We do not recommend using devices such as liquid-filled dryer balls since they can cause streaking but, dryer sheets are okay. Remember, you will never need to iron these sheets and never should. Dry cleaning is not recommended either since some of the chemicals used in dry cleaning could break down the fabric and or discolor the material.
